The pearl of Arbory, the Lodge is an original manor house with a homely charm and full of character.

Originally built in 1865, Arbory Lodge has 23 bedrooms, each unique in style and design. As in a conventional family home, the Lodge is set over two floors with the majority of bedrooms situated upstairs. Most rooms have a private bathroom and residents are encouraged to make their rooms their own with personal possessions and photos.

There is an art and crafts room where residents can exercise their imagination or the old-fashioned hallways offer some charming spots to sit and while away a wet afternoon for those that are feeling less active.

The spacious lounges and private dining room capitalise on the 19th century features, retaining the high ceilings, large windows and attractive coving, making for bright and inviting rooms. The main lounge is fully furnished in keeping with the period and usually hums with activity, as our residents enjoy the freedom to explore the rummage chest at their leisure or chat to staff and friends over a cup of tea.

Whether enjoying a quiet moment looking out across the beautiful gardens or celebrating a special event with family and friends, the Lodge is a lovely place to call home.
