The dining rooms have all been designed with the central role that mealtimes play in everyday life in mind. The environment stimulates appetite, interest and the enjoyment of meals, which reflects the emphasis that we place on proper nutrition at Arbory. 

Family and friends are always welcome to join their relative for a meal. We have 3 dining areas, which have each been decorated and furnished to promote a particular theme.

In keeping with the period of the manor house, Arbory Lodge has a traditional dining room where our residents enjoy mealtimes at elegantly laid tables. The Court houses a country-style kitchen fully equipped with chunky pine furniture, which offers a more everyday alternative and provides an ideal location for life-skills activities such as baking when meals are not being served. Finally, a bistro type dining area leads out onto the terrace, making it a favourite in summer amongst the residents living in Court.

 The tables are all dressed to restaurant standard with specially designed cutlery and crockery toenhance individual’s ability to eat independently and with dignity, regardless of the stage of their journey.
